Historical Fiction: Mostly True?

Students will read the novel "The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg" by Rodman Philbrick. After reading the novel and taking notes on historic events described in the novel, students will read informational articles on the Battle of Gettysburg and evaluate the historical accuracy of the novel.

The module addresses both ELA and Social Studies content standards.
