Life Zones Research Project

This unit is designed for students as a final project to connect learning they have done in content areas of Science and Social Studies throughout the year. They have already learned about landforms, rocks, soils, and have some research experience. Students will record all information for this project in a research (composition) notebook divided into sections for class notes, individual research notes, and vocabulary. Students will self-select text to best support their research topic. We have included some sample texts that we provide for student use. Teacher will check in with students each week to go over progress on their project using the project checklist.
