Leaping The College-Ready Gap: What Can Be Learned From Schools That Focus On Deeper Learning
This paper featuers case studies and policy implications highlighting the importance and challenges of closing the academic achievement gaps for students of color. The paper advocates and outlines policies to help ensuring that all students have an opportunity to pursue postsecondary success. As stated in the conclusion: "Providing students with deep, meaningful learning experiences is an essential ingredient toward realizing this vision.
